She built a reputation for creative problem solving and practical process improvement.
This yielded an opportunity to join one of the country’s top producers, where she was able to define and refine internal operations and client experience. Within 2-years she “built a process for everything from first impressions to annual reviews” and helped manage marketing and PR campaigns that garnered so much response, she hired junior advisers and launched a satellite office to help manage the demand.
In 2019, Marti was approached by one of Michigan’s largest Managing General Agents to envision an opportunity for growing their practice and re-imagine what it looked like to be a woman in financial services. She drew upon her deep knowledge, expertise and market analysis to launch the firm’s first all female Advisory group. While managing her own successful practice, Marti realized that her real passion was in practice management. “As Managing Director, mentorship was one of my favorite roles. What I realized is most advisers don’t just need another playbook-they need a person, an initiator and integrator to fix the things they don’t have time to do so they can do the things that are fun, fulfilling and financially rewarding.” This planted a seed that just continued to grow and Marti soon found herself being sought out as an expert in process improvement. As demand continued to grow, she realized there was an incredible gap and opportunity to serve the industry right in her sweet spot and in 2021, she expanded her services and offerings with the launch of her own firm.
She takes a comprehensive and holistic approach to analyzing a practice and not only provides turnkey recommendations, she will put “boots on the ground” to implement the necessary changes.
Marti serves on the board for the Michigan Chapter of FSP (Financial services Professionals) as well as serving as Vice President of the Plymouth Hockey Association.
